The mosaic above represents the many faces of me. If you know me well, you've seen me through one or more of the phases depicted. If you barely know me, you're likely amused by some of the faces you wouldn't expect. If you don't know me, perhaps you are amused.

In the end, however, what you know about me doesn't matter. This site is here to educate you about a cause and why I am working so hard to raise money for it.

I am training to participate in an endurance event as a member of The Leukemia & Lymphoma Society's Team In Training. All of us on Team In Training are raising funds to help stop leukemia, lymphoma, Hodgkin lymphoma and myeloma from taking more lives.

The event that I have chosen is the Maui Marathon in September 2006 -- yep, that's a whole 26.2 miles. I'm completing this marathon in honor of all individuals who are battling blood cancers, especially those who have personally touched my life throughout my many phases. I am also participating in this marathon to show support for my dear friends who have participated in TNT events before me.
